Thanks, Ash.
I am reminded of a commercial I saw in Ecuador for a cough drop. (Well known brand, but I will not mention it here in the extremely slight chance I remember the brand incorrectly.)
A rich man decided to kill himself with a gun. He also had a bad cough which caused him to miss every time he pulled the trigger. The stray bullets messed up the mansion. His butler offered him a cough drop and voilá! He was successful in his last attempt.
I turned to the person I was staying with at the time and mentioned how terrible the commercial was. He pointed out that maybe so, but I would never forget the commercial or the brand and that is all the company wanted to accomplish. Thirty years later I can assure you my friend was right.
I won't write the name of the company, but if you walk down the corridors of cough drop fame, you may discover the company and the commercial.
